Day Services Program Manager
Role summary
KANDU's Day Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Day Services Department, ensuring care meets organizational and legislative standards. This role involves managing support staff, improving departmental processes through training and technology to enhance employee performance and client engagement. Key responsibilities include building client relationships, developing training programs, approving vendor invoices, assessing employee performance, and coordinating with other departments for efficient service delivery. The manager will also directly assist clients with personal care needs as required.

They also seek ways to improve departmental processes through training, technology, or other initiatives to boost employee performance and client engagement.
Day Services Manager Job Duties:
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure service satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs so all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Review and approve vendor invoices prior to payment.
- Assess employee performance, deliver constructive feedback, and offer training opportunities to support skill development.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of KANDU’s Day Services Program in accordance with our mission, goals, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that services are delivered to clients efficiently and effectively.
- Assist clients with preparing food, feeding, toileting, personal hygiene (washing faces, brushing teeth), changing depends, and emptying catheter bags as needed.
Day Services Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to stakeholders including clients, guardians, parents and funders.
- Manage the staff of Client Care Associates
- Partner with Marketing team to grow the services
- Promote cross-departmental communication.
- Ensure adequate coverage to meet the required staff-to-client ratios
Day Services Manager Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Adult Day Care Center or a similar position.
- CNA License is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successful team management and leadership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to pass Caregiver Background Check
