Improper Payment Program manager
Role summary
This role is for an Improper Payment Program Manager responsible for developing and implementing a program within a large organization with significant accounts payable activity. The manager will need a deep understanding of AP transactional controls, advanced querying and reporting skills, and familiarity with ERP table structures. Experience in developing statistical samples for auditing and predictive analytics is also required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, an undergraduate degree, and an active CPA license are mandatory. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in public or private sector government engagements is necessary.

Manager – Improper Payments:
- Candidate possesses deep understanding and experience in developing and implementing an improper payment program in large organizations with heavy accounts payable transactional activity.
- Candidate has a strong background in understanding and defining Accounts Payable transactional controls
- Candidate possesses advanced querying and reporting capabilities and experience as well as possessing an understanding of Tier 1 ERP table structures.
- Candidate has demonstrated experience in developing statistical samples used in auditing based on analytical factors to determine improper payment estimates used within the program as well as knowledge of predictive analytics
- Has an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and an active CPA license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a manager level related to engagements for the public and/or private sector, Federal, State or Local governments or in another specialized area as defined by a task order
