Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cyber Security Analyst based in Houston, TX. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security threats, monitoring network activity, conducting malware analysis, and driving application and network security strategies. They will work collaboratively with the technology and security teams to ensure the organization is protected from cybersecurity risks and remains in compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Application Security and Cybersecurity practices
  • Proficiency in Network Security and Malware Analysis
  • Strong Analytical Skills and detail-oriented problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a strong advantage
  • Prior experience in incident response, vulnerability assessment, or penetration testing is highly desirable
