Role summary

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, scripting, and executing performance tests using tools like JMeter, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks. You will leverage your experience with Dynatrace for monitoring and diagnostics, and Kubernetes for autoscaling and performance tuning. The position requires integration with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and version control with Bitbucket. You will also perform SQL performance analysis, query tuning, and work with Linux environments. A key aspect of this role is conducting root cause analysis, creating performance dashboards, and contributing to capacity planning and infrastructure analysis. Collaboration with development, operations, and DevOps teams is essential, as is participation in Agile PI planning and performance requirements gathering.

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

Work Location: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days a week in our Okemos or Farmington Hills office), Will change to 4 days a week starting the summer of 2026

Interview: 1st round On-Site / Face to Face required, no exceptions
