Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Service Management
- Monitor and resolve ServiceNow tickets related to:
- Windows access issues
- Storage alerts and system performance
- Citrix performance issues
- MES account creation
- End-user devices (laptops, Zebra printers/scanners)
- Network connectivity and shopfloor device troubleshooting
Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Manage and monitor enterprise backup solutions such as
Veeam, Commvault, Dell EMC Avamar
- Ensure backup integrity and maintain disaster recovery readiness for MES systems
Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and optimize
VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
- Manage
Cisco UCS
hardware for high availability and scalability
Core Services Administration
- Administer
Windows Server
,
Active Directory (AD-DS)
- Manage
GPOs, DNS, DHCP
ensuring secure and compliant operations
Application Delivery
- Support
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
environment
- Ensure reliable delivery of applications to plant floor and remote users
MES Support
- Provide Tier 3/4 support for infrastructure issues impacting MES platforms
- Collaborate with application teams and external vendors
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as
FDA and GxP
- Maintain detailed documentation (SOPs, DR plans, configurations)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years
of Systems Administration experience in a
manufacturing/production environment
- Hands-on experience supporting
MES platforms
(e.g., Siemens, Emerson preferred)
