EMC Test Engineer
Role summary
The EMC Test Engineer will ensure production transducers meet electromagnetic interference and lightning testing requirements per standards like DO-160 and Mil-std-461. Responsibilities include assisting with EMC testing, writing test plans, supervising external testing (with some travel), and performing electrical testing for aerospace applications. The role also involves assisting with analog circuit design and supporting code development for automated test stands. A BS in Electrical Engineering is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Ensure production transducers are properly tested and validated to pass the requirements of electromagnetic interference and lightning testing as defined by DO-160, Mil-std-461 or other equipment standards.
Assist in Electormagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing
Assist with outside testng by writing test plans and supervising testing, with some travel to ouside labs required.
Perform electical testing with various standards regarding ligtening and EMI in Aerospace.
Assist in analog circuit design and analysis for a variety of instrumentation applications. Support code development for automated instrumentation test stands.
Follow all Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Rate: $55,000 - 65,000 per year
