Role summary

The Data Analyst will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and presenting on multiple program/portfolio datasets, focusing on resourcing, efficiencies, and benefits. This role involves creating accurate and professional dashboards for executives, senior management, and teams using Power BI. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining Power BI reports, transforming manual reports into automated solutions, gathering requirements, validating and cleaning data, and troubleshooting data issues. The analyst will also collaborate with teams to understand data context and support remediation, leveraging advanced Excel skills for data preparation and QA. Experience in financial services or banking is preferred, along with a solid understanding of business analysis and data quality.

Job Description:

• Require tracking, report and present on multiple Program/Portfolio datasets including resourcing, efficiencies, benefits

• Work is Data Analysis, status reporting,creating different dashboards for Executives,senior management and team level. So, data and presentation must be accurate and professional.

• Will work closely with the Senior leadership and Team for Requirements gathering and Report creation/presentation, maintenance

Day-to-Day:

• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards (existing and new)

• Transform manual spreadsheet-based reports into automated, scalable Power BI solutions for dynamic and weekly/monthly team or executive reporting.

• Gather and document requirements, design reporting solutions

• Validate, clean, and reconcile asset inventory data to ensure accuracy for compliance, audit, and lifecycle reporting.

• Collaborate with teams to understand data context and support remediation planning.

• Use advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) to prepare and QA data before ingestion into Power BI.

• Identify inefficiencies in current reporting workflows and recommend/support process improvement, automation, and data-quality enhancements.

• Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure dashboards refresh reliably, efficiently and accurately.

• Prepare training materials, documentation and operational guides

• Provide training on usage of Power BI to team members (where applicable)

Must Have Requirement:

• Strong Power BI experience building and maintaining dashboards, including cost/benefit or financial reporting

• Advanced Excel expertise (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, automation) used to prepare, validate, and QA data for Power BI

• Proven experience automating manual spreadsheet reports into scalable Power BI solutions

• Banking (ideally top 5 banks but not mandatory) or regulated financial services experience using Power BI for reporting and analysis

• Solid understanding of business analysis, data quality, reconciliation, and reporting with imperfect data

• Ability to troubleshoot data issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure reliable dashboard refreshes

• Experience collaborating with teams to understand data context and support remediation

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, motivated team environment

• Proficiency with PowerPoint, JIRA, and SharePoint

• Undergraduate degree (bachelor’s degree
