Role summary

A leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space is seeking a remote Sales Engineer based in the US. This role will focus on Mid-Enterprise deals, building technical partnerships, leading discovery sessions, and delivering tailored demos and Proofs of Value. The Sales Engineer will translate technical information into business value, drive technical strategy for deals, and collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams. Qualifications include 5+ years in a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect role, ideally in cybersecurity or infrastructure, with experience in Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts and a strong grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals. The role requires the ability to demystify complex technical concepts and manage technical validation processes.

For our client, we are seeking a Sales Engineer (central) to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $220,000 – $260,000 annually
Responsibilities

  • Build trusted technical partnerships in Mid-Enterprise deals
  • Lead discovery sessions and technical qualifications with prospective customers
  • Deliver tailored demos and Proofs of Value that bridge NodeZero's capabilities to customer needs
  • Maintain ongoing relationships to ensure value realization and identify expansion opportunities
  • Translate technical information into relatable business value for customers
  • Drive the technical strategy for deals, addressing objections and competitive concerns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Customer Success
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and refinement of technical assets for Mid-Market

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect role, ideally in cybersecurity or infrastructure
  • Located in CST timezone
  • Experience with Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, involving technical depth and executive interaction
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals (threat landscape, vulnerability management, identity, cloud, Active Directory)
  • Ability to demystify complex technical concepts for both practitioners and executives
  • Experience running structured Proofs of Value (PoVs) and managing technical validation processes
  • Excellent collaboration skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
