Sign up to see compensation estimateFor our client, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer 5, Ads SRE to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $388,000 – $558,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for the the company Ads Suite
- Collaborate with teams to embed reliability and security into the software lifecycle
- Coordinate capacity planning for global-scale Dynamic Ad Insertion
- Develop automation tools for monitoring and incident response
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 system health management
- Implement an incident response framework to learn from operational incidents
- Proactively identify and analyze instability in distributed systems and propose solutions
- Champion a culture of reliability and document best practices for scaling expertise
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role supporting high-traffic services
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, Go, or Java for automating solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Understanding of large-scale distributed systems and their common failure modes
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of collaborative influence
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and solving complex production issues
- A growth mindset focused on curiosity and continuous improvement
