Software Engineering Manager - Product Customer Data Platform
Role summary
A leader in the Media space is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for their Product Customer Data Platform team. This US-based remote role requires 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. The manager will oversee complex technical projects, drive Agile practices, and be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and developing software engineers. Experience in data-driven environments, SaaS product execution, and familiarity with technologies like Java, Go, React, AWS, CI/CD, Automated Testing, MySQL, Apache Flink, and Kubernetes are essential. Knowledge of real-time data streaming and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is also required.
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineering Manager - Product Customer Data Platform to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $175,000 annually

Qualifications

- Familiarity with technologies like Java, Go, React, AWS, CI/CD, Automated Testing, and MySQL
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming and experience with Apache Flink and Kubernetes
- Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
