Role summary

A leader in the Media space is seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join their remote US-based team. This role will focus on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action, strengthening data-driven execution within a Media environment. The position requires 8+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, deep proficiency with dbt, strong SQL skills, expertise in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses, and knowledge of scalable semantic layers and data quality frameworks.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer - US (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve an analytics layer to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define metrics and deliver insights
  • Implement frameworks for data quality, consistency, and reliability
  • Build AI-powered data products and analytics systems
  • Drive impactful analytics initiatives from conception to delivery

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles with large-scale operations experience
  • Deep proficiency with dbt for building and maintaining transformation layers and models
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Expertise in designing scalable semantic layers for consistent metric definitions
  • Proven history of building data quality frameworks and monitoring strategies
  • Strong software design principles knowledge and understanding of multi-tenant architectures
