Senior Data Scientist, Blockchain

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Blockchain to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $152,500 – $205,000 annually
Responsibilities

• Analyze product usage and ecosystem dynamics across various initiatives
• Develop frameworks to understand user behavior and market positioning
• Design and execute comprehensive analyses from data extraction to communication
• Build statistical models addressing key metrics like token flow and ecosystem health
• Collaborate with Blockchain Researchers and engineers to extract insights from blockchain data
• Translate business queries into structured analyses and actionable recommendations
• Mentor junior analysts and enhance the team's analytical capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)
• Solid foundation in statistics with real-world application to product or ecosystem data
• Experience managing analytical projects from scoping to delivery independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate complex insights to diverse audiences
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering
