(USA) Senior Manager, Software Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a (USA) Senior Manager, Software Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $143,000 – $286,000 annually
Responsibilities

• Lead requirement analysis to ensure software alignment with business goals
• Guide teams in creating user stories and defining project requirements
• Oversee solution design for scalable and secure architectures
• Set coding standards and automation tools for quality software delivery
• Manage testing strategies to ensure product reliability and coverage
• Drive monitoring and reporting for project health and timely deliveries
• Mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus 5 years of software engineering experience, or 7 years of software engineering experience without a degree
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Strong expertise in project management and stakeholder collaboration
• Proficient in software architecture and scalable design patterns
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Skilled in defect management and continuous improvement processes
• Familiarity with software product management and technology roadmaps
