For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering (fraud) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $178,000 – $228,000 annually
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a long-term technical roadmap
  • Recruit and hire talented engineers for the team
  • Maintain a high technical standard with architecture and specification reviews
  • Coach, develop, and retain engineering team members with constructive feedback
  • Establish OKRs and KPIs to define team objectives and measure success
  • Foster a strong engineering culture focused on innovation and accountability

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years managing high performing engineering teams
  • Experience in Fraud/Risk/Financial systems is a plus
  • Background in building platform solutions is a plus
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with real world experience in scalable distributed backend services
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with product managers and business partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing company and team environment
  • Humble leadership style with self-awareness for navigating challenges
