Staff, Software Engineer - iOS

For our client, we are seeking a Staff, Software Engineer - Ios to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will drive meaningful impact across key initiatives and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to execute against strategic priorities and scale performance. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategy and execution in a high-growth environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $143,000 – $286,000 annually
Responsibilities

• Lead and design high-quality iOS mobile software systems, adhering to best practices
• Implement sophisticated features for company's iOS applications
• Analyze and optimize performance of existing iOS applications
• Manage code and configurations across multiple environments, ensuring release success
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications based on stakeholder requirements
• Oversee the discovery phase of projects to formulate high-level designs
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve business and production issues
• Enhance software systems through continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 11+ years of extensive experience in scalable iOS application development within product-based companies
• 10+ years of experience with Pure native development specifically on iOS
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Swift for iOS
• Strong fundamentals in computer systems, data structures, algorithms, and proven problem-solving acumen
• Proven track record of shipping three or more iOS applications available on the App Store
• Solid understanding of compilers, linkers, build systems, and project configurations
• Deep expertise in using Test Driven Development (TDD) and following SOLID principles
