Principal Product Owner (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Owner (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead initiatives at the intersection of scalable technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $145,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities

• Serve as the main product management contact for specific product lines
• Collaborate closely with government product owners to guide decision-making
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and delivery team members
• Oversee multiple large and complex products, providing guidance to teams
• Direct product discovery for critical offerings based on customer needs
• Establish milestones and ensure adherence to project plans
• Identify product issues and drive solutions and evaluations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience or Master's with 12+ years
• Proven ability to define product vision and roadmaps
• Strong stakeholder management skills with cross-functional leadership experience
• Capacity to prioritize workstreams based on organizational needs and risks
• Experience in developing and analyzing KPIs, backlog management
• Skilled in translating product requirements into epics and user stories
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS along with AI productivity tools
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/DevSecOps/SAFe methodologies
