Senior Artificial Intelligence Product Security Engineer
Role summary
A leader in the Media space seeks a Senior Artificial Intelligence Product Security Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on protecting digital applications, particularly AI-enabled capabilities, within a Media environment. Responsibilities include conducting security assessments, automating security checks in the AI SDLC, designing security requirements through threat modeling, reviewing code for vulnerabilities, and developing AI security policies. The position requires extensive experience in product security, application security, or DevSecOps, with a strong understanding of LLM and AI agent security risks, and experience automating security assessments in CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with AI platform components is preferred.
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence Product Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $161,350 – $199,785 annually
Responsibilities
- Lead protection and defense of UMG’s digital applications with a focus on AI security
- Conduct application and product security evaluations and AI security assessments
- Procure and build technical solutions for automated security checks in AI SDLC
- Design security requirements for AI systems through threat modeling collaboration
- Review code for security vulnerabilities in AI-driven systems
- Lead development of AI security policies in coordination with technology risk teams
- Assist in the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in product security, application security, and/or DevSecOps
- Strong knowledge of security risks associated with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents
- 5+ years of experience automating security assessments in CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive experience with STRIDE or other threat modeling frameworks
- Familiarity with key AI platform components like AI gateways and model orchestration tools
