LaserStar Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer & Social Media Manager with experience in maintaining customer-facing websites and executing strategic social media campaigns. This role blends technical web development with digital marketing and content strategy to help expand our online presence and drive customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with website management, ecommerce platforms, SEO optimization, and social media marketing. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our website remains fast, modern, and user-friendly while also developing social media campaigns that generate brand awareness and convert engagement into website traffic and qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Maintain and update company website pages, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Optimize website performance for speed, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience
- Create and manage product listings and ecommerce product pages
- Develop landing pages for marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions
- Monitor and troubleshoot website functionality, ensuring reliability and uptime
- Implement best practices for responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Analyze website analytics and user behavior to improve conversion and engagement
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain company presence across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter)
- Plan and execute structured social media campaigns designed to increase brand awareness and website traffic
- Collaborate with the marketing department to publish engaging social media content including graphics, photos, short videos, and posts
- Coordinate social media content with marketing initiatives, product announcements, and events
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust campaigns to maximize reach and performance
Marketing Collaboration
- Work with the marketing team to create digital content, promotional assets, and campaign landing pages
- Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows, product launches, and promotional campaigns
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across web and social media channels
- Help generate qualified leads by funneling social media traffic to optimized website landing pages
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience managing and maintaining business websites
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices
- Experience with HubSpot and ecommerce platforms
- Experience managing professional social media accounts
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization
- Strong written communication skills for digital content and social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred:
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, or similar CMS/ecommerce platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and marketing analytics tools
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Experience creating short-form video content or digital marketing assets
- Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms and campaign automation
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
