Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems and platform architecture
- Solve complex technical challenges and evaluate trade-offs between performance, reliability, and scalability
- Build and maintain production-grade infrastructure and services
- Establish engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, and monitoring
- Collaborate with founders and product leaders to align engineering solutions with product goals
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a high-quality engineering culture
- Own projects end-to-end from design through deployment
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
- Experience working at high-quality startups or high-growth technology companies
- Strong experience building production systems and scalable infrastructure
- Strong full-stack fundamentals with backend emphasis
- Experience with modern development stacks

Additional Preferred Experience
- Former founder or founding engineer experience
