The Continuous Improvement Data Analyst will be part of a team that drives our Product Centric transformation and will lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accelerate digital maturity, and embed a culture of innovation across the organization. With a strong foundation in technology and data analytics, this role will assist in creating creative ways to analyze data.
Leveraging a Lean Six Sigma mindset, where data drives process improvement, the role will assist in optimizing and transforming how products are delivered to our Segment Customers.
The dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026.
This internship will be located in Burbank, CA or Orlando, FL.
What You Will Do
The role requires experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, etc.) to collect and interpret performance statistics and other relevant data. Ability to rework data into charts, graphs and workflows to help leadership teams better understand the data. The role will also include determining problem statements from the data, making recommendations for process efficiencies, and influencing a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analyzing data
  • Interpreting gathered data
  • Creating visualization of data for executive consumption
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand issues and create ways of reporting
  • Submitting reports to the relevant department heads and management
  • Finding patterns and trends in the analyzed data
  • Helping the management and other teams draw business goals and needs
  • Establishing new data gathering and analysis techniques within the organization

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools (such as Power BI)
  • Familiarity with VLOOKUP in Excel
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects
  • Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings
  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using social media platforms to engage with an audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data analysis experience
  • Innovative and strategic mindset

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Lean Six Sigma Certified
  • Experience Agile/DevOps/Sprint Development
  • Experience in AI Technologies

Education
Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other STEM related field at an accredited college or university.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per week
