Senior Software Engineer, Agent Platform
Role summary
LiveKit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Agent Platform team to develop open-source APIs powering the future of computing. This role involves building the core platform for hosting agents, creating resilient deployment systems across global data centers, and developing end-to-end tooling for agent management. The ideal candidate is skilled in containerization, experienced with distributed systems and security challenges of untrusted code, and capable of deep technical problem-solving using technologies like Go, Kubernetes, Firecracker, and Docker. This is a remote, full-time position offering a competitive salary and equity package.

What You'll Do
- Develop the core platform for hosting agents.
- Build resilient systems to deploy agents across global data centers.
- Create end-to-end tooling for seamless management of hosted agents.
- Work with Go, Kubernetes, Firecracker, Docker, Buildkitd and similar technologies.
Who You Are
- Skilled in containerization platforms
- Well versed in security challenges with executing untrusted code
- Experienced in designing and maintaining distributed systems
- Capable of digging into low-level details to solve complex problems
