Overview
LMI seeks a
Program Manager/Executive Officer
to lead a high-performing team delivering technical and program management services to our DHS client. This position serves as a senior advisor to client leadership, including developing strategic initiatives and stakeholder communications. This is an on-site position in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior advisor to client in developing strategic plans, communications plans, and executing daily operations to achieve mission goals and objectives.
  • Manage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with client staff, external partners and stakeholders, and internal functional counterparts.
  • Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution.
  • Deliver strategic communications to support lab initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Communicate mission impact to DHS and the national first responder community.
  • Develop outreach materials for meetings and events.
  • Provide organizational management and workforce solutions to optimize lab operations.
  • Manage and track scope of work performance, schedule, cost, and other deliverables.
  • Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies, directives and mandates.
  • Develop briefings and present the status of laboratory management objectives and data to senior leadership.
  • Draft briefings, white papers, and talking points for executive-level meetings and correspondence.
  • Review informational requests from Department leadership, Congress, or other federal stakeholders, and support coordination and development of timely responses.
  • Assist quality management, including drafting and updating operational procedures.
  • Conduct substantive content reviews of reports and documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, strategic communications, or another relevant discipline.
  • Technically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work within a cross-functional team toward supporting our client’s success
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
  • Effective problem-solver
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office environment
  • This position requires completing a government background investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen.
