Loch Harbour Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer (Software Engineer II) to design, develop, and enhance software applications and automation solutions supporting mission-critical financial, corporate operations, and accountable property management functions.
The position requires full-time onsite support in San Diego, CA and an active Secret clearance at time of hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power Platform applications and automation solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Lead over-the-shoulder and virtual training sessions for personnel across supported platforms and tools
- Serve as a technical point of contact for Power Platform solutions, automation workflows, and custom-developed applications
- Design, develop, test, and implement automated workflows using Microsoft O365 Power Platform, Jira, and Jira Service Management
- Translate operational and business requirements into technical designs, automated workflows, and scalable applications
- Develop and maintain applications supporting material and asset management automation, including barcode scanning and RFID integration across Microsoft, Android, and Apple environments
- Analyze, refactor, and improve solutions to enhance performance, usability, and maintainability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, user guides, and development standards
- Support system testing, internal control validation, and corrective action initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to educate users on Power Platform capabilities, automation best practices, and data-driven solutions
- Apply secure development practices and ensure solutions comply with applicable policies, governance standards, and audit readiness requirements
Requirements:
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as:
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
- Mathematics or related discipline
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience
Required Technical Skills
- Atlassian Jira, Jira Service Management, Microsoft O365 Power Platform
- Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
- Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
