Description:

We are hosting A Lockheed Martin Space In-Person hiring event in the middle of June and is in the vicinity of King of Prussia, PA. This event will be by invitation only and the exact date and location will be disclosed at a later date. The Software Engineering roles do require a clearance to start. Please apply to be considered.

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking full time Software Engineers. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experienced in software development using programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • US citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearances
  • Active/Final Secret Clearance or above to Start

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift)
  • Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis)
  • Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture.
  • Experienced with Horizon software application providing command and control services for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets.
  • Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering disciplines or equivalent experience,

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off
