Role summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Regression Test Engineer with a Secret clearance to join their Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team. This role involves conducting regression testing on the C2BMC system, planning and executing performance analyses, and documenting/presenting results. The engineer will also develop requirements for system models and evaluate threat scenarios. The position requires knowledge of Linux/Windows, troubleshooting skills in virtual environments, and a DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification. This is a hybrid role, requiring significant onsite work due to classified computing environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Final secret clearance is required.
  • Knowledge of Linux, and/or Windows.
  • Posses basic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the hardware and software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environment.
  • Ability to conduct complex troubleshooting by analyzing application and system logs, network configurations, and interface documents.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) is required.
  • C2BMC specific program experience is required.

Job Description
What We’re Doing
Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
Applicant will be expected to provide technical expertise in the area of Missile Defense (MD) analysis conducting regression test engineering on the C2BMC system. The applicant will plan and execute performance analyses on C2BMC and its interactions with current and planned-future MD Elements, document analysis results in reports and briefings, present analysis results to a variety of audiences, develop requirements for complex system models/simulations; develop, test, and evaluate threat scenarios; provide data to support decisions regarding system/element representations and modeling parameters used in large scale simulations; interact with members of other C2BMC Product Teams, C2BMC leadership, MDA customers, and technical SMEs as well as leadership of other MD Element programs.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
