
F-35 Deputy Office Program Manager - Level 5
Role summary
The F-35 Deputy Office Program Manager (Level 5) will be a key member of the F-35 Enterprise Initiatives Team, focusing on Workforce Value Stream Integration (WVSI) and SIOP Value Stream Integration (SVSI). This role requires extensive experience in project/program management, leading cross-functional teams (Program Management, Engineering, Business Management, GSC), and communicating effectively with executive leadership. A strong understanding of F-35 Production, Sustainment, Modernization, and Development, along with supply chain best practices, is essential. The position involves regular executive and customer interface, risk management, and supporting special projects. Background in Supply Chain or Engineering, and familiarity with US Government acquisition and contracting, are preferred. This is a hybrid role with part-time remote telework.
Basic Qualifications
- Project and / or Program Management experience
- Experience communicating across all the various Program disciplines at the executive levels within LM
- Experience leading teams leveraging program management fundamentals
- A broad knowledge of of F-35 Production, Sustainment, Modernization, and Development
- Understanding of material demand / supply and supply chain best practices
Job Description
This candidate will be a member of the F-35 Enterprise Initiatives Team in the F-35 Deputy Program Management Office.
This position will include regular executive management and customer interface, risk management, and responsibility for leading cross functional teams consisting of Program Management, Engineering, Business Management, and GSC across the F-35 organization.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Serve as the F-35 WVSI (Workforce Value Stream Integration) Lead
- Provide F-35 SVSI (SIOP Value Stream Integration) support
- White paper development
- Lead/support business case development
- Support Special Projects as required
Desired Skills
- Background in Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, US Government acquisition and services contracting
- Understanding of the Lockheed Martin Company and general financial principles
- Strong business acumen
- Experience operating in both tactical and strategic perspectives simultaneously
- Active Secret Clearance
