What You Will Be Doing

As a Software Engineering, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide Software Architectural Leadership while Leading/Developing Software Requirements/Architecture/Design

• Integrate features/algorithms into C++ applications with open standards

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate technical software development activities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software

that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.

• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

• Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or other Engineering/Science related discipline
• Experience with programming software languages to include C/C++, Java, JavaScript/Typescript, C#, Swift, Python
• Open Architecture / Open Mission Systems
• Software Architect Experience

• Product Owner/Lead experience
• Ada Software Development experience
• System test and Hardware/Software Integration experience
• Data Analysis experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Docker Containers/Kubernetes/Cloud Deployment and Virtualization
• React, CSS, XML, JSON, gRPC, OpenGL, Unity Engine, Distributed Simulation (DIS)
• Agile Software Development
• Gitlab experience
• Configuration Management Systems
• Agile Methodology, Process and Tools
• Atlassian Tools (e.g. Stash, Jira)
• Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
