Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other major with applicable coursework and at least 5 years professional experience.
  • Proficiency with C++ in Linux environment
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Git
  • Familiarity with Java
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level

The Work
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr Software Engineer! In this role, you will be part of a Software Engineering team and be responsible for: planning, coordinating, designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software; independently determine and develop approach to solutions; apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications; ensure software standards are met. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), object-oriented programming, software configuration management, real-time embedded software development, software integration and test.
