Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer
Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Required Skills:
GCP Platform DevOps Engineer:
- Technology : GCP Core Services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Logging and Monitoring), Python, Terraform, Airflow/Composer.
- Build, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using best practices
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Automate cloud provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager)
- Support Dev, Test, and Production environments with high availability and reliability
- Manage and support GCP services across environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform and pipeline issues
- Perform routine platform operations such as upgrades, patching, and key rotation
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for cloud workloads
- Support cloud migration activities (re host, re platform, refactor)
- Assist application teams with onboarding and DevOps enablement
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams
- Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and IAM
- Enforce security best practices including least privilege access and service accounts
- Support governance, compliance, and access provisioning for teams
