About the role

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to build and maintain native Swift-based mobile banking applications for a large-scale digital payment’s platform. You will own the full iOS lifecycle, integrate with backend services via REST APIs, and develop secure, scalable features using modern architectures like MVVM and Clean Architecture. The role requires a strong focus on mobile security (including OWASP best practices), testing, code quality, and delivering reliable, high-performance iOS applications used at scale.

General Expectation

• Strong expertise in native iOS development using Swift and Apple frameworks.

• Ability to design and build scalable apps using MVVM and Clean Architecture.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful backend services.

• Focus on building secure applications following OWASP mobile security best practices.

• Ownership of the full app lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and release.

• Strong testing discipline with unit and end-to-end test coverage.

• Commitment to code quality, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

What is needed

· Strong hands-on experience in native iOS development using Swift and Apple frameworks.

· Deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.

· Experience building and maintaining production-grade mobile applications at scale.

· Ability to integrate iOS apps with RESTful APIs and backend microservices.

· Strong focus on mobile security, including OWASP Top 10 best practices.

· Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and UI testing.

· Strong coding standards, attention to performance, and ability to work in a collaborative engineering team.

Experience

· 5+ years of professional experience in native iOS application development.

· Proven track record of building and shipping production iOS apps using Swift.

· Experience working with modern iOS architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.

· Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services in mobile applications.

· Experience in implementing secure mobile applications following OWASP best practices.

· Strong experience in writing unit, integration, and UI tests for iOS applications.

· Experience working in agile teams with full ownership of the mobile app lifecycle.
