Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Program Manager is a critical leader of the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility, Loyola’s celebrated center dedicated to growing the intersection of profit and purpose. The Baumhart Center works to create thriving communities, in an inclusive economy, on a healthy planet through education, engagement and thought leadership.
The Senior Program Manager will manage all aspects of the flagship Baumhart Scholars MBA program. The Senior Program Manager will also provide general support and leadership at the Center, including developing and delivering new programs and events, and serving as a core partner in the Center’s annual Leading for Good conference.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and guide the Baumhart Scholars MBA program, from raising the profile of the program with prospective students, to leading the recruiting process, to supporting Scholars during their academic and professional journeys in the program into the alumni community. The Senior Program Manager also leads the engagement with faculty, mentors and career coaches in the program, manages program operations and guides academic planning.
- Evaluate programming and propose steps to continuously improve program effectiveness.
- Develop Immersion Weekend (new student onboarding) activities and programming
- Collaborate with the Center’s director, faculty, and external advisors to identify, define, and develop cohort-based programs that meet the needs of practitioners seeking to accelerate social impact, recent examples include Reporting for Impact and Tech for Good Bootcamp.
- Lead program outreach and recruitment efforts, including playing a critical role in the development of marketing materials and in the communication of opportunities to practitioners.
- Provide general support and leadership at the Center, including serving as a partner in Leading for Good (annual flagship event/summit) and helping to recruit and support Center sponsors and partners.
- Recruit and lead a team of student interns.
- Other duties as assigned including administrative tasks
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in relevant field is strongly preferred
- 5+ years of relevant work experience

- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of and a passion for socially responsible business, social enterprise and sustainability
