Job Profile
The Infrastructure team provides engineering design support and implementation to onpremise and cloud infrastructure supporting our business applications and capabilities
The Engineer is responsible for the design acquisition maintenance system integration and implementation of applications and infrastructure components Most will specialize in Engineering in a specific infrastructure domain such as Datacenter networks Compute Storage Voice and Communications Collaboration Applications Virtualization and OS Cloud Endpoint Management Mobile Technology or Infrastructure Tools and Automation
This includes project participation researching and providing recommendations for strategies roadmaps and solutions to support the evolving needs of the business
This position also requires the individual to maintain currency of technical skills in relevant technologies oncall availability perform work afterhours including weekends and some travel to remote facilities
The Engineer works independently with minimal guidance and direction may lead projects and serve as an informal resource for lower level engineers and Operations teams
This position is focused on the infrastructure domains listed above but the team works with a variety of platform groups that utilize technologies such as System Center VMWare ESX VCenter and Horizon Ansible Azure AWS ServiceNow InfoBlox Prisma Cloud Qualys and Zenoss
Job Description
Technology The Engineer provides solutions in projects requiring implementation of technical expertise in infrastructure areas including existing and new builds and systems integration Creates Engineering standards to govern system designs and processes
Participates in problems change management and escalated incidents
This includes planning build requirements BOM SoW review service maintenance contract enforcement asset management systems monitoring automation performance finetuning
The Engineer identifies gaps and risks in operation capacity equipment fault tolerance and disaster recovery efforts
Works related problems change management and escalated incidents Submits RFQ RFPs obtains quotes aggregates documents and proposals and maintains current and proposed
End of Life schedules Creates procedures related to jobteam responsibilities and other documentation as requested for internal customers audits and compliance purposes
Provides after hours primary or secondary oncall support for critical incidents as well as after hours and weekend change implementation execution Relationship
Collaborates with crossfunctional departments IT partners to plan integration efforts that align with business operation initiatives
Maintains assigned vendor relationships and partners to support strategy and architectural design efforts for assigned technology Engages and collaborates with vendors carriers and internalexternal partners to support technical planning of midterm initiatives
Documentation Creates and maintains Engineering standards Business Continuity Disaster Recovery plans and executes annual testing to ensure we remain compliant with FDIC and PCI for BCDR and other requirements Reports and presents quarterly capacity analyses of licensing equipment and utilization
Business Knowledge and Project Involvement Demonstrates a degree of business knowledge within the general financial services and marketing domains
Strive to influence the team to generate support to achieve desired business outcomes Team Collaboration Cultivates relationships across roles and organizations to maximize collaboration partnership and efficiency

Compensation range: $62,270.00 to $114,263.00 per year
