Role summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to develop embedded software, automated test infrastructure, and manufacturing tools for next-generation drone hardware. The role involves creating systems for validating and scaling production, ensuring product reliability and calibration. Responsibilities include developing software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, building End-of-Line test and calibration systems, designing test infrastructure for regression and validation, and supporting the deployment of test stations and automation systems. The engineer will also analyze test data for improvement opportunities. Strong software engineering fundamentals in C++ and/or Python, experience with firmware or embedded software, and a background in manufacturing test or automation are required.

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to build the systems that validate and scale production for next-generation hardware products. You’ll develop embedded software, automated test infrastructure, and manufacturing tools that ensure products are reliable, calibrated, and ready for deployment at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software and manufacturing tools for microcontroller-based systems, embedded Linux platforms, and production control systems using C++ and Python
- Build and maintain automated End-of-Line (EOL) test and calibration software used in manufacturing environments
- Design reliable test infrastructure for software regression, diagnostics, and hardware validation
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams to bring products from prototype to high-volume production
- Support deployment, debugging, and optimization of manufacturing test stations and factory automation systems
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify reliability, yield, and process improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in C++ and/or Python
- Experience developing firmware or embedded software for hardware systems
- Background in manufacturing test, hardware validation, or automation systems
- Familiarity with embedded Linux, microcontrollers, or production diagnostics
- Comfortable working in fast-paced hardware startup environments with rapid iteration cycles
