Contract Back-End Engineer (Python / Java) – Remote (USA)

We are seeking a
Back-End Engineer
to design and build scalable backend services that support modern SaaS applications. This fully remote
contract position
will focus on developing microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions that power knowledge management, conversational workflows, and platform integrations.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with
Python and Java
, building distributed systems and microservices in a cloud environment. You will work closely with frontend teams to deliver reliable APIs and backend services that support real-time application workflows.

Key Requirements

- Strong experience building backend systems using
Python and Java
- Experience designing
microservices architectures and REST APIs
- Cloud experience with
Azure services and cloud-native applications
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability
- Ability to build scalable, high-availability backend services

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting
AI / machine learning workflows
- Exposure to
event-driven architectures or messaging systems
- Blazor experience is a strong plus
, as the backend services will support a Blazor-based frontend application.
