Software Engineer, Server - Rider Pay
Role summary
Lyft is seeking Software Engineers to join their Rider Pay team, focusing on payment experiences for riders. This role involves writing, testing, and maintaining code, participating in code reviews, and being part of an on-call rotation to resolve issues. Engineers will collaborate with product, data science, and operations teams to build scalable, config-driven infrastructure. The position requires proficiency in Python and Go, object-oriented programming, and experience with data structures and algorithms. The role emphasizes a collaborative, low-ego, cross-functional team environment. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the Toronto office.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $88,000 - CAD $110,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
