We are looking for a skilled Specialist with a strong background in leading Test Automation efforts to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience as a Lead and will have a proven track record in performing integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure alignment with system requirements and our client's practices and policies. Collaboration is key in our agile environment, so the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As an embedded expert, you'll spearhead integration, regression, and functional testing to ensure our systems meet internal and client standards. Your automation skills will streamline testing processes. Adhering to rigorous standards, you'll provide actionable findings and guidance to mitigate risks. Operating autonomously, you'll ensure projects maintain optimal quality and reliability and you will lead other testers on a scrum team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience
- Must be extremely experienced in all aspects of test case creation, testing, and defect management
- Advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software skills
- Advanced analytical/quantitative, reconciliation, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and use of software repositories such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience with Automated Change Management using modernized solutions like ServiceNow
- Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- 3+ years of Agile (Scrum) experience
- Desired: 5+ years of experience with test Automation and tools and methods that facilitate Test Driven Development
- Desired: Azure DevOps Pipelines and Azure DevOps Tests experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and our client's practices and policies
- Assist in the analysis of functional and technical requirements, and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Scrum Team in agile settings
- Adhere to Software Engineering disciplines and to change control standards and procedures
- Maintain suite of existing automated test cases and scripts, making updates and extending test coverage as project changes are made; develop new automated test cases as needed
- Ensure testing meets business and technical requirements
- Conduct code reviews with peers to ensure adherence to coding and quality standards
