Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Lead Software Engineer. The Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions, focusing on back-end development. Responsibilities include writing efficient code, leading the software development lifecycle, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and optimizing system performance. The individual will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the product experience and ensure high-quality engineering standards across the platform.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Proven experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Proficient in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming
- Effective problem-solving and debugging skills
- Familiarity with cloud computing, databases, and API integrations is a plus
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
