Role summary
mdhub is seeking a Deployment Strategist to manage the end-to-end rollout of their platform within behavioral health organizations. This role bridges operations, customer success, and product strategy, requiring a blend of strategic thinking and execution. The Deployment Strategist will partner with clinic staff to understand workflows, design tailored deployments, lead change management and adoption efforts, and monitor key metrics to ensure successful implementation and expansion. This is a high-ownership, early-stage role with direct interaction with the founding team, focused on defining deployment best practices in a rapidly evolving market.
# **About the Role**
We're looking for a Deployment Strategist to own how mdhub lands inside behavioral health organizations - from signed contract to full adoption. This role sits at the intersection of operations, customer success, and product strategy - equal parts strategist and executor.
You'll partner directly with clinic operators, clinical directors, and frontline clinicians to understand their workflows, map their pain points, and design the rollout that makes mdhub the operating system they can't live without. You'll work alongside our Forward Deployed Engineers to scope what needs to be built, then drive the change management and adoption that turns a deployment into a long-term expansion.
This is an early, high-ownership role where you'll work directly with the founding team. You'll be defining what great deployment looks like at mdhub while the product and market are evolving rapidly.
# **What You'll Do**
* Partner with customers to understand their workflows across admissions, clinical documentation, and billing - often embedding directly with their teams to see how they actually operate day to day.
* Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to scope, configure, and deliver mdhub's platform (EHR, CRM, RCM, and AI workers) tailored to each organization's environment.
* Identify the key operational and clinical data that drives customer decision-making, and work with the team to integrate it into mdhub's platform.
* Design and refine clinical workflows that solve real problems - replacing disconnected systems with a single platform where human teams and AI workers collaborate.
* Lead training and onboarding for clinicians, front desk staff, and billing teams - ensuring every user is set up for success and mdhub has lasting impact.
* Present findings, adoption metrics, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels - from frontline clinicians to executive leadership.
* Drive customer expansion by scoping new use cases, identifying underserved workflows, and shaping how mdhub grows its footprint within each organization.
* Monitor adoption metrics (utilization, session coverage, clinician engagement) and intervene proactively when deployments stall or underperform.
# **Requirements**
* You've led complex software deployments or implementations - ideally in healthcare, SaaS, or clinical environments.
* You're a change management expert - you know how to get busy clinicians to adopt new technology and actually use it.
* You're operationally rigorous - you manage timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies with precision and follow-through.
* You operate like a founder - ownership, no excuses, full accountability.
* You're an exceptional communicator - you can influence executives, train frontline staff, and navigate organizational politics with ease.
* You thrive in ambiguity - you build process and structure where none exists, adapting on the fly as conditions change.
* You're relentlessly resourceful - you solve problems independently and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.
# **Bonus**
* Background in healthcare or behavioral health.
* Experience with clinical operations and workflows.
* Exposure to working with large clinics.
