Merrick & Company is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer for their Land Development team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This hybrid role involves performing independent design tasks, preparing construction drawings, organizing reports, and calculations for land development and municipal projects. The position requires a Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program and 0-4 years of experience in Land Development and/or Public Works. Desired qualifications include EIT certification and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience. The salary range is $72,300.00 - $88,300.00 annually. OVERVIEW:

Merrick & Company is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our growing Land Development team in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

Annual salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $88,300.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. #LI-Hybrid

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Perform independent design tasks, preparing construction drawings, organizing reports, calculations, and associated project deliverables.
  • Work within a team of Design Engineers and technicians on Land Development and municipal projects.
  • Prepare and review working drawings, details, layouts, surveys, estimates, and work products.
  • Exercise initiative, judgment, and knowledge as required in areas of responsibility.
  • Interface with clients, and Local, State, and Federal government agencies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
  • Zero (0) – Four (4) years of experience in Land Development and/or Public Works.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fundamentals of Engineering / Engineer- in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Recent demonstrable experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
