Role summary

Seeking a Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience in distributed systems to join an AI infrastructure team. The role requires strong proficiency in Go or Python, expertise in resource scheduling, orchestration, API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Candidates should understand hardware constraints, system optimization, and Linux systems. This position is ideal for someone excited about solving complex problems in AI infrastructure, comfortable with ambiguity, and possessing a startup mindset. Mandarin language skills are a plus.

5+ years backend engineering experience with distributed systems
Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or similar backend languages
Experience with resource scheduling, orchestration, and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
Understanding of hardware constraints and system optimization
Linux systems knowledge and containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Comfortable working with expensive resources where efficiency directly impacts costs
Excited about solving novel problems in AI infrastructure (not just another CRUD app)
Startup mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration
Knowledge of Mandarin
