Autonomous Systems Software Engineer
Role summary
Metron is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design and develop algorithms, simulations, and visualization tools for autonomous robotics. The role requires at least 2 years of industry experience in advanced software development, proficiency in C++, and experience with algorithmic coding, including complexity analysis, performance optimization, and multithreading. A Secret security clearance and US Citizenship are mandatory. Desired qualifications include experience with ROS, data analytics, and advanced mathematics. The position is located in Newport, RI, requiring work at a customer site for in-water testing.
