Role summary

The Program Manager for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation will lead and oversee mental health consultation services within early learning environments. This role involves supervising Mental Health Consultant staff and HMG Childcare Navigators to ensure high-quality service delivery and program compliance, ultimately promoting healthy early childhood development and family well-being. A Master's degree in a counseling-related field and two years of experience in Early Childhood Services are required. Licensure as an associate or fully licensed mental health professional in Texas is also necessary. The position is based in person.

The Program Manager for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation provides leadership and oversight for mental health consultation services in early learning settings. This role supervises Mental Health Consultant staff and HMG Childcare Navigators, ensuring high-quality service delivery and program compliance to promote healthy early childhood development and family well-being.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum Education: Master’s Degree

Defined Education: Counseling related field

Preferences: Experience working with families with young children, infant and early childhood mental health consultation model, Infant Mental Health, Reflective Supervision, Group Parent Education settings, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Spanish speaking is a plus

Years’ Experience: Two (2) years

Defined Experience: Early Childhood Services

License/Certifications: Intern status license as Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate (LMFT-A), and/or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Texas and actively working on obtaining professional license as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW (obtaining practice hours and required examinations); or fully licensed as LPC, LCSW or LMFT; Valid Texas Driver’s License
