Role summary
Mi-Tech Services, Inc., a full-service engineering, design, and construction firm, seeks a Utility Construction Inspector. This role is responsible for overseeing utility construction projects (natural gas, electric, telecommunications, municipal infrastructure) to ensure compliance with safety regulations, plans, and standards. The inspector acts as a third-party representative for the owner, safeguarding public safety and project quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of utility safety, excavation standards, and damage prevention, with the ability to interpret construction plans and maps. Experience with mobile technology and GPS instruments is preferred.
