Role summary

Michels Pipeline, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project planning, organization, and implementation of project management principles. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and business needs, with a strong emphasis on safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 0-3 years of experience, and foundational knowledge of project and construction management. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera is preferred. Responsibilities include supporting project controls such as cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, reporting, and financial metrics analysis. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams. The role requires the ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments.

    • What it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 0-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
  • Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles
  • Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
  • Ability to support project controls including cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, reporting, and basic financial metrics analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
