Role summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Land Survey Technician to join their engineering, design, and construction services team. This role involves executing boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews, performing boundary surveys, and handling all aspects of construction staking. The technician will also be responsible for producing 3D models and road corridors. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent and working knowledge of Trimble Survey Equipment. As a Land Surveyor – Survey Technician, your primary responsibilities include; executing boundary, easement, deed and title review, performing boundary surveys independently or mentored, performing all aspects of construction staking across multiple industries, and producing 3D models and road corridors.

    • What it takes?

  • Associates or Bachelor’s in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or Surveying Engineering is desired
  • 2+ years of experience is required
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Trimble Survey Equipment (GPS, Total Stations & Data Collectors)
  • Valid drivers license is required
  • Overnight travel is required
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and prioritize work

    Expected Salary Range
    $27—$38 USD
