Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with strong advanced Excel capabilities to support pricing and sales analytics across multiple markets. The successful candidate will work with large datasets, transform and model data, and produce actionable reports that support commercial decision-making.

This role requires an Excel power user with deep expertise in Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex data modeling, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric environment and enterprise data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing and sales data across four key markets to support commercial and strategic decisions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize advanced Excel-based analytical models and reporting frameworks.
• Use Power Query to extract, transform, and load large datasets from multiple enterprise sources.
• Develop robust Power Pivot data models and dashboards for business reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc pricing and performance reports for commercial stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and models.
• Integrate and prepare datasets for ingestion into the Microsoft Fabric data environment.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance, and data teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst / Data Analyst role within an enterprise environment.
• Advanced Excel expertise (expert-level proficiency required).
• Deep experience with:
• Power Query
• Power Pivot
• Complex formulas, data modeling, and large datasets
• Experience working with pricing, sales, or commercial data.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric environment / modern Microsoft data stack.
• Strong ability to clean, transform, and structure large datasets.
• Experience building repeatable reporting frameworks and dashboards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Commodities industries.
• Knowledge of Power BI or enterprise reporting platforms.
• Exposure to data pipelines feeding into Fabric or modern data platforms.
• Experience working with multi-market pricing analytics.
