Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative data science team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AI, big data technologies, and machine learning frameworks, along with a strong background in data mining, natural language processing, and model deployment. Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools.
• Design scalable ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage utilizing Talend, Hadoop, and SQL databases.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights from large datasets.
• Apply unsupervised learning techniques for clustering, anomaly detection, and feature extraction.
• Develop natural language processing solutions for text analysis and linked data integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models into production environments using cloud platforms like AWS.
• Optimize model training processes for efficiency and accuracy while managing model lifecycle from training to deployment.
• Design robust database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval aligned with project requirements.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and Java for automation and integration tasks.
• Stay current with advancements in machine learning frameworks, quantum engineering applications, and analytics tools like Looker.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine learning model development, deployment, and maintenance in a production environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, SAS, R, and Bash (Unix shell).
• Extensive knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, SQL databases, and ETL tools such as Talend.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for scalable model training and deployment.
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), linked data integration, and AI techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, SAS Viya, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of database design principles and experience working with large datasets in SQL or NoSQL environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using analytics tools like Looker.
• Background in quantum engineering or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to collaborate across teams. Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
