Role Description

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the team and help build the most useful smart glasses ever made.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Software Engineer at MIRA, you will design, build, and optimize software solutions for advanced AI-powered wearable devices. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop cutting-edge algorithms and systems, improve product performance, and contribute to solving challenges related to real-time responses, ambient context understanding, and user-friendly AI interaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience.
• Candidates must have developed multiple LLM-based applications and AI tools.
• A strong familiarity with concepts such as fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multi-modal LLMs is essential.
• Candidates should demonstrate exceptional product sense.

• Prior experience as a founding engineer at an early-stage AI startup is a big plus.
• Prior experience with hardware products is a big plus.
