Job Summary

  • Seeking a Data Scientist to provide advanced discovery and analytic support across mission areas by leveraging machine learning, statistical analysis, and data-driven techniques to uncover patterns, anomalies, and insights from complex datasets
  • This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience as an analyst, targeteer, or in discovery-focused positions, bringing a mission-oriented mindset to technical problem solving
  • The Data Scientist operates in a dynamic environment, adapting to new tools, technologies, and evolving mission requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Apply machine learning and statistical analysis techniques to support discovery and mission analysis
  • Develop analytical prototypes, scripts, and automation tools to enhance data processing and insight generation
  • Perform data visualization and exploratory analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
  • Leverage TechSIGINT tools and datasets to support mission discovery and targeting efforts
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to support complex analytic workflows
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines to improve efficiency and repeatability of analytic processes
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders to refine analytic approaches and deliver actionable insights
  • Rapidly adapt to new tools, technologies, and mission priorities
  • Document methodologies, findings, and analytic processes

Required Qualifications

  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
  • Master’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
  • Experience applying data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python or similar languages)
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment
  • Demonstrated adaptability and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an analyst, targeteer, or in discovery-focused roles
  • Experience with TechSIGINT tools and mission datasets
  • Experience developing analytic prototypes and automation solutions
  • Familiarity with cyber, SIGINT, or intelligence analysis workflows
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience in Intelligence Community (IC) environments

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The Pay Range For This Role Is
135,000 - 180,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
