
Sustainability Data Analyst
Role summary
Seeking a Sustainability Data Analyst to support ESG and regulatory reporting needs. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting environmental and ESG data, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions. Responsibilities include supporting sustainability reporting (CDP, climate disclosures), tracking EPR and packaging data, and staying current with emerging sustainability regulations. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams like Operations, Procurement, and Finance for data collection and verification, and maintain reporting documentation. Requires 1-3 years of experience in sustainability/ESG data, with at least 1 year in GHG accounting and reporting support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and handling large datasets is essential.
## A Day in the Life:
As the Sustainability Data Analyst, you will support our growing sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and regulatory reporting needs. Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental and ESG data to support sustainability strategies, reporting, and decision-making. Support environmental data management, reporting, and compliance efforts across a global organization
## The Impact You'll Make:
- Manage, validate, and analyze sustainability data, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions.
- Support sustainability and ESG reporting, including collection due process (CDP), climate related disclosures, and regulatory readiness.
- Assist with extended producer responsibility (EPR) and packaging related data tracking across jurisdictions.
- Track and support data needs tied to emerging sustainability regulations (e.g., climate and packaging requirements).
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Procurement and Finance) to collect and verify data.
- Maintain trackers, reporting calendars, and supporting documentation
## Who You Are:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of
- - Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Between 1-3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental data
- Minimum 1 year of experience in GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and supporting sustainability reporting or regulatory disclosures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
